In match 59 of the IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 18, 2025 starting at 3:30 PM IST. RR will be back in action for their afternoon match when the IPL resumes a week later after being forced to suspend the tournament amid India-Pakistan tensions. The league is now able to proceed resume after a ceasefire between the countries was reached! RR are already out of playoff contention and playing for pride. PBKS currently sit third, having accumulated 15 points over 11 games, and need at least one win from their last three games to secure their place in the playoffs!
This aligns with RR’s slight edge historically, particularly at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, where they lead 4-2 in 6 matches against PBKS.
