The Final ODI of this series is a dead rubber but will still have a lot to watch out for. Aaron Finch is gearing up for one last time in ODI cricket. He has been struggling over the last few months and feels its the right time to call it a day in the fifty over format, calling curtains over an incredible career. The series has been a low scoring one in general, and there are some really poor batting performances. New Zealand in particular has a lot to worry about. The batting line-up is collapsing far too much and Kane Williamson is not among the runs. With one more ODI to go, New Zealand will need to find a way to get confidence for the upcoming fixtures.

The weather is pretty good and should hold well through the AUS vs NZ fixture.
The track is fresh and may offer some early movement with the grass covering around. Batting second will be a better option.
Aaron Finch, David Warner, Steve Smith, Alex Carey, Marcus Stoinis, Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, Ashton Agar, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa. Josh Hazlewood
Martin Guptill, Devon Conway, Kane Williamson, Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Michael Bracewell, Mitchell Santner, Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson
Aaron Finch is coming out for one last time as ODI captain and as an ODI cricketer. He has struggled all series and it will be interesting to see if he has one more innings to produce to cap off a wonderful ODI career. He has struggled against the moving ball throughout and will have a challenge ahead but will be extra motivated for the upcoming fixture.
Kane Williamson has the backing of his coach but his numbers are still very worrying. The runs are missing for the New Zealand captain, and with Finch retiring calls for Williamson to do the same may go up in the coming future. He is still a classy player and will have to find a way to grind it out in the middle and get his form back.

Both sides are struggling with the bat, but Australia has done well to dominate in the big moments of the match. Their bowling is also doing better with Josh Hazelwood continuing to grow across formats. With New Zealand struggling for runs they are likely to face tough times in the upcoming games.
