Australia’s final leg of preparations for the World Cup begin. They have David Warner and Mitchell Marsh coming back as the side is nearly full-strength. Marcus Stoinis is still missing, allowing Cameron Green a chance to improve his credentials in the national team.
West Indies are here and will be here till the World Cup ends. They start their preparation against the hosts without Shimron Hetmyer, who is dropped from the World Cup as he missed his flight. The players though are fresh off the Caribbean Premier League, and should be able to settle into the series easily.

Rain and overcast skies are predicted during the AUS vs WI fixture. There is a strong chance of a truncated or washed out game.
The Carrara Track is likely to be a little slow and low scoring. There will be some movement up front as well and bowling first will be a better option.
David Warner, Aaron Finch, Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Tim David, Cameron Green, Matthew Wade, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa
Evin Lewis, Kyle Mayers, Nicholas Pooran, Brandon King, Raymon Reifer, Rovman Powell, Jason Holder, Odean Smith, Akeal Hossein, Obed McCoy, Alzarri Joseph,
With Marcus Stoinis out, Cameron Green has another opportunity to impress. He is not a part of the World Cup squad but has been proving why he should be in the squad ever since the team was announced. He is a very flexible cricketer, and with him likely going back to his old role, it will be interesting to see what Cameron Green offers.
Kyle Mayers is in wonderful form after a strong showing with both bat and ball in the CPL. He is a part of a young and talented West Indies team, who is coming in with a handful of fresh talents. With a lot of competition around him, Kyle Mayers will hope to cement his position at the top.

Australia are the World Champions, and are playing at home which should give them the upper hand. West Indies though are coming in with some really talented names, and also have a good record against Australia. While Australia are favorites, it will be interesting to see how West Indies match-up in Australia.
