The tournament continues as legends from Bangladesh and West Indies gear up to take each other on. Back in the day, West Indies and Bangladesh did not get a chance to compete much, but now the national sides regularly meet each other. With Bangladesh constantly growing as a nation it will be interesting to see how they go up against a West Indies side which had some absolute legends of the game.
Played- 1 | West Indies Legends- 1| Bangladesh Legends- 0 | Tie- 0
Date: 11th September 2022
Time: 3:30 PM IST
Venue: Green Park, Kanpur
The weather is nice and cool during the BAN-L vs WI-L fixture with some dew in the air.
The Kanpur track generally aids seamers a bit. There is a chance of spin too usually but with dew around at this time of the year the pitch is going to be pretty dead and batting is going to be easy. Batting second will be a better option.
Aftab Ahmed, Dhiman Ghosh, Tushar Imran, Nazmus Sadat, Mohammad Sharif, Shahadat Hossain, Abdur Razzaq, Alok Kapali, Abul Hasan, Mamun Ur Rashed, Mehrab Hossain Jnr
Dwayne Smith, Brian Lara, Kirk Edwards, Narsingh Deonarine, Danza Hyatt, William Perkins, Dave Mohammad, Jerome Taylor, Krishmar Santokie, Sulieman Benn, Daren Powell
Before Bangladesh became a strong team, Abdur Razzaq was one of the rare names from the nation to make a mark on the cricketing world. He is a handy cricketer and has a nice skillset which could come in handy as Bangladesh go up against the West Indies.
Brian Lara did not get to play much T20 cricket in his time. His style of play and ability to use play unorthodox shots though made him a T20 cricketer before T20 was around. He can score quickly if he needs to and is a very ugly but tough batter to watch and bowl too.

Both sides are full of Legends, but the yesteryear starts of West Indies look a lot more prominent coming into this game. A win should be on the cards for them with their line-up
