India start their prep for the World Cup with a full-strength side playing in ODIs after a while. They are still missing the likes of Jadeja and Bumrah, but most of the players who could be guaranteed a spot next October are around. After ages, the trio of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli are back together. Suryakumar though misses out after being given a break for the ongoing ODIs.
Bangladesh are without Tamim Iqbal and now have a chance of trying out a new captain. Litton Das takes the leadership spot, as Bangladesh head back into a format they are still pretty good at. They are struggling in Tests and T20Is, but ODIs remain a format they are strong in, given their squad is pretty intact.

The Weather at Mirpur is pretty good for the upcoming game.
The Mirpur track is slow and low and will spin as the game progresses. Batting first is a better option.
Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Deepak Chahar, Mohammad Siraj, Umran Malik
Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan, Nurul Hasan, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraj, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Ebadot Hossain
The knives are out on Rohit Sharma. His form, fitness, age, leadership and reflexes are all in question as his intent goes missing. In ODI Cricket, Rohit Sharma still remains a threat, given the time he has to get settled in. With a lot of criticism going towards him though, Rohit Sharma does not have too many quick fixes for the given situation and will have to find a way to maintain consistency in performances while inspiring as a leader.
Litton Das being announced as the captain indicates Bangladesh’s plans for the batter. He is a pretty talented cricketer and has proved his worth with some intent in his batting at the top. Das will want to deliver in his first game as skipper, and is a huge threat in what looks a very deep Bangladesh batting line-up.
Bangladesh are a pretty strong side at home. India though are coming in at full-strength and some of their players have a lot to prove in the upcoming game. With a lot to prove, India are likely to come out with a lot of intent, and will be the side to watch out for.
