After a thrilling set of events, Bangladesh came out on top in the first ODI. They are proving to be good in ODIs, and are still very strong at home as it has been seen. They won the ODI series against India back in 2015, and another win will help them complete their second consecutive home ODI series against India.
India’s top-order and batting overall is still a huge headache. Rohit Sharma once again got a start and got dismissed. KL Rahul though is looking good in ODI Cricket, doing a fine job in the middle-order, and is also working extra, taking the gloves for the ongoing series.

Date: December 6th 2022
Time: 11:30 PM IST
Venue: Shere Bangla Stadium, Mirpur
The Weather at Mirpur is pretty good for the upcoming game.
The Mirpur track is slow and low and will spin as the game progresses. Batting first is a better option.
Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Shahbaz Ahmed, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel, Deepak Chahar, Mohammad Siraj, Umran Malik
Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shakib Al Hasan, Nurul Hasan, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraj, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Ebadot Hossain
Batting in the middle-order, KL Rahul came back well into the ODI format. He has some good numbers in the middle-order, and played with a lot more intent than he did while opening in the T20 format. His consistency in the middle-order is also pretty good, and this could help him start looking for faster ways to score runs, at a consistent rate.
Although Mehidy Hasan won the player of the match award, Shakib Al Hasan proved his status as Bangaldesh’s legend. He dismissed Kohli and Rohit Sharma, to break the Indian batting line-up and alter finished with five wickets. His bowling is really good still, and his batting is always a threat, highlighting him as the best in the line-up, still.

Bangladesh are a pretty strong side at home. India though are coming in at full-strength and some of their players have a lot to prove in the upcoming game. They are coming off a win and look very confident while India are far from confident with their performances.
