India won the first test with the likes of Kuldeep Yadav and Cheteshwar Pujara returning to form again. They will be pleased to see the likes of Pujara and Gill doing well while the spin attack grows in depth with Kuldeep Yadav taking his place back in the pack.
Bangladesh gave a good fight, approaching the target positively. Shakib Al Hasan gave a brave fightback but it was too much for him to do. His performance though is very encouraging as is Bangladesh’s performance overall as they continue to make strides in Test Cricket

The Weather at Mirpur is pretty good for the upcoming game.
The Mirpur track is slow and low and will spin as the game progresses. Batting first is a better option.

Pujara has finally broken his century drought. 2022 has been an eventful year for him. He was dropped from the Test team, went into county cricket, scored a truckload of runs and is now back handsomely with an intentful century in the second innings.
Litton Das is on the rise. He is enjoying a nice period in ODI Cricket and is a key player in the Test side. His aggression up front, and flair makes him a huge asset as Bangladesh head into transition with Tamim Iqbal also injured.

Bangladesh are a good team at home but Test Cricket against India and Ravichandran Ashwin on turning tracks are a huge challenge.
