Rain saved Ireland from what could have been another big defeat. Bangladesh stepped up brilliantly with the bat though as Mushfiqur Rahim hammered Bangladesh’s fastest ODI century. Now, Bangladesh cannot lose the series, and with their recent form and confidence, they look set to continue creating some priceless moments in the upcoming games.
Date: March 23rd 2023
Time: 1:30 PM IST
Venue: Sylhet
The Weather at Sylhet is pretty good for the upcoming game.
A slow and dry pitch is expected with the same track from the third ODI being used for the first T20.
Played- 11 | Ireland- 2 | Bangladesh- 8 | No Result- 1
Tamim Iqbal, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Litton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Ebadot Hossain
Stephen Doheny, Paul Stirling, Murray Commins, Harry Tector, Loran Tucker, George Dockrell, Curtis Campher, Andy McBrine, Josh Little, Mark Adair, Graham Hume
Mushfiqur Rahim created history a game ago as he smashed the fastest ODI Century by a Bangladesh Cricketer. His innings down the order gives Bangladesh a lot more depth as they look very solid with some good players throughout the order.
Doheny has looked pretty solid at the top and with Tector in the middle-order and some really talented players below him, Doheny could play a strong role. A good start from him would certainly make the game a lot easier for those below him.
Bangladesh are clear favorites especially after putting in some commanding performances in their last few games.
