The last match of the group stage of the tri-series is likely to be Bangladesh’s final opportunity to test their line-up before the World Cup begins. They are playing in the qualification tournament and will have to find some form before getting there as they are struggling badly now.
Played- 16 | Bangladesh- 2 | Pakistan- 14 | No result- 0 | Tie- 0
Date: 13th October 2022
Time: 7:30 AM IST
Venue: Hagely Oval, Christchurch
The weather at Christchurch is moderate with minimal chances of rain during the BAN vs PAK fixture.
The Christchurch track has some grass on it but is likely to play flat with a lot of runs on offer. Bowling first will be a better option.
Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Babar Azam (c), Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain
Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Sabbir Rahman, Litton Das, Shakib Al Hasan (c), Mosaddek Hossain, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasab (wk), Edabot Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Nasum Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman
Khushdil Shah is a name that tends to go unnoticed in the middle-order. He is a fixture in the side and has given some decent but silent contributions. With Pakistan’s middle-order struggling, he is a key member and could help strengthen the middle order.
Shakib Al Hasan is all that remains of a golden generation. The others are either retired or dropped from T20 cricket. With a young side he has some work and will have to step up big here

Bangladesh are struggling in T20 cricket to find a set template. While Pakistan feel that their template is far from perfect it should be enough to get past Bangladesh.
