His innings of 42 runs off 31 balls, which included six fours, was a crucial factor in India’s victory. The Southpaw collaborated with troubleshooter Axar to help India to a decent total of 119.

Despite compiling one of the lowest totals, India defeated their bitter rivals by holding them to 113/7 and winning by six runs in New York.
