Axar Patel has made his name in cricket fertinity by his all round performance he is not just performing but has been consistent in it. Which makes him so special player the useful runs he scores and contains the bowling department with necessary support though he is not huge turner of the ball but his flight in deciption makes it difficult for the batsman to read, even at batting too he scores that valuable runs.

Axar Patel Rise In Career

Axar played his earlier cricket for Gujrat in domestic he was so propel with all round abilities at that time itself but constrained more with his bowling abilities. Soon his name started to garner around Indian team A squard. In 2014 he made his Odi debut for India against Bangladesh where he performed well but couldn't sustain more of it. Due to lack of performances he remained In or Out of, the team but always under the radar of Bcci. 

Axar made his T20 debut in 2015 against Zimbabwe where his consistent performance in T20 made a significant place for him. Naturally he made his way into Indian team but couldn't able to, secure a permanent place in Indian team squard. But his IPL performance speak for himself which became huge bonus for him. 

Axar Patel The Immense Growth

Though Axar Patel made his test debut in 2021 in MA Chidabaram stadium claimimg 7 wickets in his debut. He was named in 2015 world cup squard didnt get a game, In 2019 world cup too he had to wait for his chances because Kulcha were at their peak at that time. In 2023 World Cup Axar was suffering from back strain.

But back with a bang in 2024 T20 World Cup where his all round performance helped India to clinch their second title. He scored valuable 44 runs and delivered some useful spells. 

Axar Patel main strength he is been economical  in his spells. In the Champions Trophy his contribution has been tremondous where he had scored a 50 and placed a vital patnerships too. He has been effective with the bat too. In today's semi final match against Australia he has taken 2 important wickets and scored some valuable runs for the team.
