Fans Criticize RR Star's Attitude After Selfie Controversy

One of the recent controversies to make headlines revolves around Rajasthan Royals’ Riyan Parag. Parag, who is the team’s stand-in captain, was caught on video attempting to take a selfie with the ground staff after he had seemingly finished interacting with fans. The incident occurred following the Royals’ six-run win over the Chennai Super Kings during the ongoing IPL at the Barsapara stadium in Guwahati. Parag did win the selfie but in an unsportsmanlike manner. Instead of giving the phone back to the staff, he flung it away, which sparked irritation in that corner of the internet.

The decision to throw away the phone was heavily criticized on social media, and users found it to be disrespectful, bestowing upon Parag an arrogant persona.
