Australia need to restructure not only their middle order but also the openers the middle order was crumbled with every bowl played just like the castle of Cards can crumble with small breeze of wind, in the space of 19 balls Australia lost more than half of their team with 6 wickets.
The collapse began with Saifuddin striking twice in the 11th over to dismiss Alex Carey (bowled) and Moises Henriques (edging to the wicket keeper). Shakib Al Hasan followed up on that and cleaned up the tail, returning figures of 4 of 9. Australia’s innings that never got going in the chase eventually folded up for 62 in 13.4 overs.
the winning team captain Mahmudullah said “I am very happy for the boys. The team management have helped us. The boys have showed a lot of hunger. We have executed our plans really well. The bowlers have done well. Credit to them. I think the development has been increasing nicely. In international cricket, you need to keep your calm and execute your skills. Before the series, I had a chat with the bowlers. They needed to be more proactive and will have to take the responsibility.”
And looking for the development in future aspects he said “We can’t let anything pass our way in our conditions because I think we are a very good side at home. Our team has very good potential in T20s despite the rankings not showing it. We would want to dedicate this series win to the Father of our Nation and his family.”
Shakib Al Hasan the Player of the Match and Bangladesh vs Australia Series said some words with interviewers on joyful movement “I am still enjoying my game. Thanks to my team mates, this achievement wouldn’t have been possible. The wicket was tough but we held our nerves. All in all, a very good series for us. To be honest, if you look at the last game, we scored 104 or 105 and got momentum towards the defense of the chase.”
Additionally he added “It wasn’t easy for the batters in this series but the bowlers did well. We are trying to improve all our areas. Our fast bowlers have been improving really well. They have been bowling brilliantly.”
(He became the first player to pick up 100 T20I wickets and score 1000 runs as well)
Matthew Wade said to reporters in the end of the match “It is hard to say that there are more positives. These are the toughest conditions to play international cricket in. Had a lot of challenges. But it wasn’t our series.”
He also said that “There are no excuses to say we had not played enough cricket. We are professional cricketers and played around the year. The Bangladesh batters found a way in their home conditions. Our spinners were exceptional. Some guys got exposure. Mitch Marsh continues to grow in these conditions.”
At the end of the Series of Bangladesh vs Australia, the winning side showed some great potential for WC T20I although defected side was not that weak but what you can do if your roof is full of holes thus Australia have so much to improve to win the WC T20I.
