The Chief and  who organize cricket in Bangladesh are very determined to stop cheating. They made a unique team to help find out if people fixed games in the BPL. There are many concerns that some players are not playing the game in the right manner in the BPL, which is a very enjoyable cricket event.

Reports suggest that the ACU has flagged eight matches for suspected spot fixing and match fixing, following anonymous complaints and media scrutiny. As part of the investigation, 10 players have been placed under the scanner, including six international cricketers from Bangladesh, two uncapped Bangladeshi players, and two foreign cricketers.

BPL Fixing Scandal: BCB Forms Independent Inquiry Panel to Investigate Corruption Allegations

Some cricket teams need to be carefully looked at because they might not be playing by the rules. Durbar Rajshahi and Dhaka Capitals are in a very bad situation because players have said twelve times that they might be doing something unfair. Players are also watching the Sylhet Strikers and Chittagong Kings because they might be cheating too, but less than the others.

They have 6 and 2 warnings each. Some games are very odd, particularly when Fortune Barishal played against Rajshahi on January 6 and the next day when Rangpur Riders played against Dhaka. Those games seemed really, really weird. BCB President Faruque Ahmed has reaffirmed the board’s commitment to eradicating corruption from the league. In an official press release, the BCB emphasized its strict adherence to the ICC Anti Corruption Code and reiterated a zero tolerance policy towards any form of corruption in cricket.

“The BCB remains dedicated to ensuring a fair and transparent cricketing environment and will continue to take all necessary actions to safeguard the integrity of the sport in Bangladesh,” . The latest developments highlight BCB’s determination to restore trust in the league and send a strong message against corruption. As the inquiry progresses, all eyes will be on the BCB and ACU’s actions to uphold the credibility of Bangladesh cricket.
