The ICC has confirmed the broadcast arrangements for the ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, ensuring fans worldwide can catch all 55 games of the tournament. The details were released by the ICC on Wednesday.

India

Indian fans can cheer for Rohit Sharma’s side through the Star Sports Network and Disney+ Hotstar. Star Sports will broadcast the tournament in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Additionally, a new Indian Sign Language feed will provide a first-of-its-kind audio descriptive commentary for an ICC event. The successful vertical feed, introduced during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup last year, will continue, offering a more intuitive mobile phone viewing experience produced by ICC TV and supported by Disney Star.

Pakistan

In Pakistan, fans can watch all matches through ICC’s linear partners PTV and Ten Sports. The tournament will also be available digitally via the Myco and Tamasha apps, as the team vies for its second T20 World Cup title.

USA & Canada

WillowTV will broadcast the T20 World Cup for fans in the USA and Canada. The tournament opener on June 1 between neighboring countries promises plenty of excitement for the tournament newcomers.

West Indies

Fans in the West Indies can follow the two-time champions on ESPN Caribbean, with streaming available through the ESPN Play Caribbean app as they aim for a third T20 World Cup title on home soil.

England

In England, the tournament will be available on Sky Sports. Fans can watch live action on Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Action, and digitally via SkyGO, NOW, and the Sky Sports App.

Australia & New Zealand

Amazon Prime Video is the new destination for ICC cricket in Australia, offering all 55 matches. In New Zealand, Sky Sport NZ will broadcast the ninth edition of the tournament.

Other regions

  • South Africa, Uganda, and Namibia: SuperSport will broadcast the matches and its app will be available across South Africa and 52 Sub-Saharan African territories.
  • UAE and the MENA region: Matches will be streamed live on STARZPLAY, with broadcast coverage on CricLife MAX and CricLife MAX2 in the UAE.
  • Sri Lanka: Maharaja TV will cover ICC events through TV1, Sirasa, and Shakti TV for linear broadcasts, and their website for digital streaming. Sinhalese commentary for Sri Lanka matches will be available for the first time via Maharaja TV. Fans can also watch through the ICC TV app.

Global streaming

The ICC will broadcast the T20 World Cup live and free on ICC.tv, available in the official T20 World Cup app across over 80 territories including Continental Europe and Southeast Asia. This will allow fans in these areas to enjoy all the action and access ICC-produced programs and highlights.
