Two teams, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), near to IPL 2025 exit, will be at MA Chidambaram Stadium at 7.30 pm tonight (April 25). It is obvious that one of the two out-of-form teams will break the deadlock and retain their winning momentum, and there are high chances to break several records tonight from both ends. From MS Dhoni to Travis Head, multiple world-class players will have the chance to make their careers decorated with new records.
An obvious record is to be made as soon as CSK skipper MS Dhoni makes his footprints at the Chepauk. Tonight, he will play his career's 400th T20 match, including international and club cricket. So far he has played a total of 399 T20 games, 98 for his nation and 272 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) alone, whereas he played 242 matches only for Chennai Super Kings. MS also has a good amount of experience playing Champions League T20.
The CSK skipper can make his 400th career T20 match more memorable if he completes 4 more stumpings tonight. So far he has 46 stumpings recorded under his belt in 272 IPL matches, only 4 away from the half century.

A well-known Indian all-rounder, who has played a total of 78 IPL games, lacking only two 6s from an IPL career total of 50 over-boundaries. If he's able to smash the ball twice for maximum tonight against SRH, he'll touch the landmark.
Like Vijay Shankar, Australian and SRH opener Travis Head also bundled a total of fifty 6s in IPL 2025, game 43. Made his debut back in 2016 for RCB; now with SRH, Head recorded 49 maximums in the tournament, including 41 for his current team.
