In the IPL 2025 match being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets and achieved their fourth consecutive win this season and Royal Challengers Bangalore team had to face their second defeat of this season. This is Bangalore's second consecutive defeat at home.
RCB made a great start at their home ground in Bengaluru and there was a partnership of 61 runs between Phil Salt and Virat Kohli in 3.4 overs. Then Salt got run out and went to the pavilion, after which RCB's innings derailed. Salt went out after playing an innings of 37 runs with four fours and three sixes in 17 balls. After this, RCB's run rate slowed down and their team could not recover till the end.
Devdutt Padikkal (1), Virat Kohli (22), Rajat Patidar (25), Liam Livingstone (4), Jitesh Sharma (3) and Krunal Pandya (18) could not do anything special. Due to which the RCB team could score only 163 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. While Vipraaj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav took the maximum two wickets each for Delhi. In the end, Tim David played an unbeaten innings of 37 runs for RCB, hitting two fours and four sixes in 20 balls.

Delhi Capitals, who came out to chase the target of 164 runs, also did not have a good start and Faf du Plessis (2), Jake Fraser McGurk (7), Abhishek Porel (7) got out cheaply. Due to which Delhi lost three wickets for only 30 runs. After three wickets fell for 30 runs, KL Rahul took charge while captain Axar Patel got out after scoring 15 runs. After this, Tristan Stubbs supported Rahul. KL Rahul played an unbeaten innings of 93 runs in 53 balls with seven fours and six sixes.
While Stubbs also returned unbeaten with him by scoring 38 runs in 23 balls with four fours and a six. With this, Delhi scored 169 runs for four wickets in 17.5 overs and registered an easy win by six wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets from the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Apart from this, Yash Dayal and Suyash Sharma also got one wicket each.
