In the thrilling fifth and final Test match between India and England in Dharamshala, cricket fans are witnessing an epic showdown. With India already securing a series victory with a 3-1 lead, anticipation is high for the finale.
Adding a unique dimension to the series is British painter Andy Brown, who is documenting the cricket action on his canvas. Recently, Brown shared a photo on X, previously known as Twitter, showing him alongside India’s head coach Rahul Dravid, who was holding a painting of himself. The artwork beautifully captures Dravid’s signature pensive pose seen during training sessions.
Brown is no stranger to capturing sports moments, having made a name for himself in the fast-paced world of baseball. From appearing at the World Baseball Classic to visiting every MLB park in a single season, his passion for sports and art knows no bounds. Despite being born and raised in Britain, Brown found his love for baseball while living in Busan in the late 2000s before eventually settling in Seoul.
During the India vs. England Test series, Brown also had the pleasure of meeting spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who shares his interest in painting. The two bonded over their mutual love for art and cricket, making for a delightful exchange.
