According to Guardian, Eoin Morgan, the Irish man who changed England’s limited overs cricket, is supposed to resign from international cricket this week. Morgan, 35, has been ‘considering his future lately,’ the report proposed, most as of late enlisting two ducks versus the Netherlands.
As indicated by the most recent development filed by the Guardian-
The 35-year-old Irishman, who revolutionised England in limit-overs arrangement, has been battling with the bat as well as with his wellness, and these are the likeliest explanations behind his decision, the report suggested.

Morgan recently had two ducks against the Netherlands in ODIs and didn’t play the third game because of groin concerns. He has been the main man for England in the white-ball cricket throughout recent years and plays had a huge impact to change the dimension of ODI cricket. Presently, on the off chance that he chooses to resign, the ECB is probably going to name Jos Buttler as their new chief for ODIs and T20Is.
“Morgan pondering his future before the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year – and the defence of the 50-over title in India in 2023 – is understandable, having created one of the most feared white-ball batting line ups in world cricket and a well of talent in reserve that has left little scope for passengers,”
the Guardian report read.
“If I don’t think I am good enough or I don’t feel I am contributing to the team, then I will finish,”
he said on Sky Sports.
He has been supported by Matthew Mott, the new white-ball lead coach, and Rob Key, the director of England men’s cricket. Yet, he has made only two half‑centuries from his 28 international innings across the two white-ball formats.
Morgan has amassed almost 7, 701 runs and 13 centuries from 248 ODIs, and has nearly 2,458 runs from 115 T20Is. These numbers were incorporated while he played for both England and Ireland.
