Rishabh Pant hasn't been in the best form recently. The wicket-keeper batter was bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for a whopping amount of 27 crores, which made him the highest-paid player in the history of IPL. This all started before the auction, where Delhi Capitals (DC) retained him for 18 crores, which was disrupted by Pant for getting the higher value. Then he decided to step up in auction. Knowing these many franchises were prepared for this, when his name erupted, bidding for him was started, and few of the franchises were interested in buying him, and even DC knew that.
A bidding war was quite a firey one where two franchises lasted the bidding reaching the 20 crore mark. But all of a sudden DC used their RTM which was to be challenged by LSG, they quoted 27 crores for him, which made an absolute shocker for everyone in the area and Pant was sold to LSG for 27 crores.

Rishabh Pant became the highest-paid player in the history of IPL, which became the headlines for a few days. People congratulate him and defy his abilities which greatly increase his market value. Lots of interviews before the start of the season. Soon LSG gave a big announcement that Rishabh Pant would be leading the side which created more curiosity among fans and the date of their match arrived.
LSG's first match was against DC, where DC won the toss and elected to field first. LSG were in charge against them, whereas Nicolas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh were thrashing the bowlers. And then comes Pant after a wicket. he tries to play an aggressive shot and gets out in his very first ball. In his second match, he gets out for 15 runs. In his third match against Punjab, he got out of 2 runs where he was poorly trolled by fans.
Rishabh Pant's form has been dreadful in today's match against MI. The south paw batter was dismissed for 2 runs when he played 6 plays. MI won the toss and chose to field, where LSG once again had a good start, but the result was the same at the end. Captain Rishabh is under the radar of trolls once again
Guy got trolled for making face at Pant's dismissal last match so tonight he came with smiling face after Pant's dismissal.

I feel really bad for this old man, he spent 7,090 crores on this franchise and 27 crores on Rishabh Pant, still he is not allowed to show his frustration! pic.twitter.com/4h52BcuyVD
Rishabh Pant got 27 crores, but he hasn’t even scored 27 runs in his initial games, not even 27 balls faced. What a joke! pic.twitter.com/WVi0jOfeQL

Fans have eagerly awaited his comeback, especially after everything he has been through, but he continues to disappoint. His struggles often stem from attempting aggressive shots or the batting position he is assigned. However, for Pant, the rough patch persists.
