The ninth game of the IPL 2025 has been scheduled for the Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians (GT vs MI) match. Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad) will host this fixture on Saturday evening (March 29).
Both teams started their new season with a defeat, as they are ready for their second game of the season. The IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans hosted Punjab Kings in their first IPL 2025 match, where Punjab Kings scored 243/5, and Titans replied with 232/5, as the home batters’ inspiring battles were just short of the target.

Meanwhile, the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians had another IPL season start with a four-wicket defeat against another five-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings. While MI were restricted to 155/9, MI bowlers fought hard, but the hosts CSK managed to secure the match by four wickets with five balls to spare.
Talking about the playing XI changes for the Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians match, MI captain Hardik Pandya is set to return after completing his one-match suspension, which he was punished for recording three slow-over offences last season, including recording the last one in MI’s last game of the season. Otherwise, we aren’t expecting any big changes in both squads, except for any sudden fitness issues.
