With his tattoos and peroxide highlights, Hardik Pandya, a wiry young man from a small town in Gujarat, exemplifies the charm and bravado of the modern Indian cricketer. The all-rounder was thrust onto the big stage following frequent exposure to primetime television in the form of the Indian Premier League. With a deep voice that reflects fire and confidence and shows no signs of playing it safe, Pandya is the current embodiment of aggression on the Indian side.
Pandya rose to fame after enduring the arduous grind of domestic cricket when he was selected by an IPL franchise, which gave him the chance to show off his talent on the biggest stage. Pandya has developed into one of the best all-rounders of recent times, winning the IPL trophy as the captain of the Gujarat Titans and putting on a number of match-winning performances for the national team.
In the second Twenty20 International against Australia, the right-handed batter struck 42 off 22 deliveries to help India win the series. Pandya wrote, “This one is for everyone back home.” on a photo taken after the match-winning hit.
After Ishan Kishan made his Indian debut against England, Pandya and Kishan shared a special photo. In the T20I, Kishan scored 56 runs off just 23 balls, which is commendable. Additionally, Virat Kohli performed exceptionally well in the match.
Pandya celebrated his return from injury in the same tournament four years ago by posting a throwback picture and a picture taken after his match-winning innings against Pakistan in the Asia Cup opener. The “comeback is greater than the setback.” he said.

Pandya showed a few pictures from the post-game ceremony after winning the inaugural Indian Premier League for Gujarat Titans as captain. In the caption, he wrote, “CHAMPIONS. This is for all the hard work we’ve put in! Congratulations to all the players, staff, and fans.”
