Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya was interviewed recently in the press conference in the year 2025. He talked about his recent match played with Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. During the event, Pandya revisited one of his most famous statements from that match: ""I don't have the skills of Jasprit Bumrah, but I've the skills of Hardik Pandya". His words from that game still resonate, highlighting his confidence and belief in his own abilities.
Hardik's Confidence
During his interaction, Pandya explained the reason behind the statement he made three years ago. According to him, each player has specific strengths, and his strength as an all-rounder adds value to the team in his own way. His stand on not comparing himself with others and instead supporting the strengths remains unchanged.

The good pace and the use of variations in bowling allowed India to control the middle overs. His first crucial dismissals were of important Pakistani batters that resulted in reversing the momentum of the match in favor of India.India's chase of 160 runs started on a wrong note, losing early wickets.
