India won their third Champions Trophy title most by any team. India outplayed New Zealand by chasing a total of 251. Where Rohit Sharma and Subhman Gill's 100-run partnership laid the foundation. Though India struggled in between losing 3 wickets at continuous trot. Iyer and Axar steadied India's run chase, Iyer played graciously where he scored a knock of 48, thereafter rest of the batsmen handled the chase well.

India won the match with 4 wickets remaining where Ravindra Jadeja finished things off. It was a great redemption of 2017 which they missed through a margin. It was a collective effort from the team where in every match any player stepped up and performed which resulted in the victory of the Champions Trophy. Mohammad Kaif ex a cricketer who used to play for India and is mainly known for his best fielding and his finishing abilities. He too congratulated Team India for their back-to-back-year trophy triumphs. He too had some of his special mention to a player whom he admired a lot in this Champions Trophy. 

He says he has been mesmerised by the performance of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Kl Rahul they have put in a lot of effort, especially Rahul has attained the finisher position perfectly, Kohli's form at the right time against Pakistan was a watchable treat. Rohit at the final showed his class why he was called as the number one opener in this format. It was just a dream to come true in last year's T20 World Cup and this year's Champions Trophy which strides India's strength.

Shreyas Iyer The Man With Unbelievable Form

Mohammad Kaif has been hugely impressed by Shreyas Iyer performance he believes he was in such an insane form in last World Cup in 2023 where he came at number 4 where he scored 4 centuries and 2 fifties. In this Champions Trophy too he scored 234 runs which is truly good. The man plays only one format with a huge pressure to perform in every occasion. 

I was really suprised by his form how does he do that that really suprises me even too. He scored two half centuries against Pakistan and New Zealand and that too in a tricky pitches of Dubai ensures how much technically prepared for it. Despite having huge competition Iyer excels all in that.
