Although New Zealand openers provided a strong start, Indian spinners dominated to restrict the Blackcaps to 251 runs. India have the spinners Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadeja. All the spinners bowled exceptionally well in the entire ICC Champions Trophy 2025, and Ian Smith has praised captain Rohit Sharma for these successes.
