The clash between India versus Australia in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on March 4 was divinely action-packed but came with its own security concerns. India chased a 265 run target and won the match in 4 wickets, but a fan rushing onto the pitch and getting way too close for comfort to KL Rahul who hit the winning six is a little too much. This incident poses some serious red flags regarding player safety in highly funded matches.

Immediately after KL Rahul hit that winning drawable, this overly excited fan literally ran up to hug Rahul.
