India's woman's cricket team did an excellent job and beat the England team in the game at the Bayuemas Oval location in Kuala Lumpur. It was Friday, and they won by nine runs, which is very important match to go to finals. They are very skilled that they broke through the England team's batting, and then when it was their turn, they got the runs they needed very easily. Now they get to go to the final of this major Under-19 cricket tournament, and everybody is talking about how great they played the entire game.
England got to bat first because they won the toss. Davina Perrin and Jemima Spence were the first two players who are the openers, and they did a good job making 37 runs together. But then the India team got them out one after the other quickly. After that, Perrin and the team captain, Abi Norgrove, played really well and made 44 more runs to help their team.
With their score at 81 points and only two people out, England was doing pretty great and might have made a large amount of runs, but the India team's spin bowlers had a curious idea. Aayushi Shukla, Parunika Sisodia, and Vaishnavi Sharma turned the game on its head, picking up six wickets for just 11 runs. Their relentless attack saw England collapse to 92 for eight by the 16th over. Despite some lower order resistance, England could only manage 113 for eight in their allotted 20 overs.
