The BCCI has officially unveiled the schedule for the Indian men’s cricket team’s upcoming tour of Bangladesh, set to take place later this year. The tour will feature six matches in total, beginning with a three-match ODI series followed by three T20 Internationals. The action kicks off on August 17 with the opening ODI at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka. The second ODI will follow at the same venue on August 20, after which the teams will head to Chattogram for the third and final ODI encounter.
Following the conclusion of the ODIs, the two sides will shift focus to the shortest format of the game. The T20I series begins on August 26 in Chattogram, providing a thrilling start to the white-ball battle. After that, the teams return to Mirpur for the remaining two T20Is, scheduled for August 29 and August 31. This balanced itinerary ensures that both Dhaka and Chattogram host crucial games in the series.
India will arrive in Bangladesh with strong momentum, having recently clinched both the T20 World Cup 2024 and the ICC Champions Trophy under Rohit Sharma’s leadership. Before this Bangladesh tour, the Indian team will be engaged in a high-stakes five-match Test series in England immediately after the conclusion of IPL 2025. With their confidence high and form peaking, India will aim to dominate the white-ball series in Bangladesh and continue their winning streak across formats.
