India has won the semi finals of Champions Trophy  against Australia it means the finals will be commenced in Dubai. India were put upon a chase of 264 runs posted by Australia. India started off very well but lost two quick wickets. Then comes the chase master Virat Kohli and does the rest of the job. India won the match with 4 wickets remaining in hand. India is in its 5th Champions Trophy Final. Earlier they have won 2 and lost 2 which gives the equation of 50-50.

After the match Indian Coach Gautam Gambhir addressed the presser where questions were put upon India strategy throught the game and their approach on upcoming games too.

India denied to travel Pakistan for Champions Trophy which was hosted by them stating the reasons of security and political disputes. India played all their matches in Dubai and won all four of them. He was asked about highs and lows of the game. In which he replied we had played flawlessly and still one more game to go. There was a question about Virat Kohli batting and guiding the chase and the reply was his emotions were same for every player ultimately its for the team.

On questions of dilema it was asked about promoting Axar above he says he is been playing well and he should be given chances, this is how we plan our cricket and we will be following it. Gambhir Gutted Answer On Rohit Form And Venue

Gambhir gave a benifiting reply raising that what type of advantage we have got it is also neutral venue for us, I don't know last we played here , we never planned these things of playing spinners, where we would playing either playing in Pakistan two front line spinners were always in line.

Game was played on sub continent conditions so we choose according to it. In last three matches we played with one spinner only in this match we went with 3 spinners.  Talking about the advantage we haven't practicesed for 1 day we are training at the ICC academy there is difference between practice pitches and stadium pitches. He went on saying some people are perpetual crippers They had to grow up.

If your captain is playing with this type of tempo then its good for the team itself it shows we want to be aggressive and fearless.  You evaluate by runs but we evaluate with the impact,  this is the reason you go with the stats and we value with the impact, As journalist, analysist you see only numbers but I believe only team should be prioritised and if your captain does that its absolutely fine.
