CSK exhibited a stellar all-round performance, with their batsmen shining in the first innings, enabling them to set a formidable target of 206 for 6. Subsequently, they efficiently restricted the opposition to 143 for 8. This victory propelled them to the summit of the IPL 2024 points table, securing four points from two matches.

In the match against Gujarat Titans at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, the seasoned campaigners of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni and Ajinkya Rahane, showcased exceptional fielding skills.
