The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise has decided to refund the money to the fans from their 2024 Unbox event. However, the RCB Unbox event recently happened at the iconic M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 19. A lot of fans attended the venue to watch the event, while several others watched the live streaming on the RCB app.
While the fans were charged Rs.99 to view the Unbox event via streaming, the telecast itself faced a lot of technical issues owing to its “extreme demand”. And, on March 21, the RCB franchise issued an update of refunding back the money to the fans who watched the proceedings via live streaming.
In an official update, the RCB franchise admitted the ‘technical issues’ faced by fans during the live streaming and assured them of a ‘seamless’ experience in future.
