Delhi Capitals showcased a quick start, reaching 46/2 within their powerplay segment before losing Jake Fraser-McGurk (7), followed by Karun Nair (10), early in the innings. Abishek Porel made 49 runs while KL Rahul scored 41 runs as they stabilized the innings during their batting. However, Porel failed to reach fifty. The batting attack gained momentum when Tristan Stubbs scored 41 from 20 deliveries and Axar Patel came in and hit 29 from 16 balls. RR experienced runs blowing in through the death overs due to shaky bowling from Sandeep Sharma, while Jofra Archer bowled tightly and Wanindu Hasaranga took two wickets. DC achieved synergy between their batting style and pitch conditions when they posted 188 runs for eight wickets with short boundaries against the target.</p><h3>Rajasthan Royals Innings </h3><p>At the beginning of their chase, RR scored 48 runs without losing any wickets, while Yashasvi Jaiswal hit 43 runs and Sanju Samson accrued 38 before leaving the field due to injury. Nitish Rana kept RR moving forward by scoring 51 runs from 28 deliveries, while this partnership ended when Rana was dismissed and Riyan Parag finished with 29 runs when Starc bowled a yorker. The 2/25 figures by Kuldeep Yadav resulted in a slowdown of Rajasthan Royals' middle innings batting performance. During the last over of the game, Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel attempted an aggressive approach but lost the contest when Mitchell Starc struck a yorker to finish the over with a single score, leading to 188/7.
