Shivam Dube: This win means a lot, especially after losing five matches in a row — that’s just not the CSK we know. Our bowlers did a fantastic job today, and I personally wanted to stay till the end. I had made up my mind to finish the game and felt it was important to take it deep, especially after a few wickets fell in the middle. It wasn’t just about mindset but also about playing according to the situation. Rather than attacking, I focused on timing and placement, as the bowlers were executing their plans well. Carrying these positives into the next match is key.

Rishabh Pant (Captain, LSG): As a team, we felt we were about 10 to 15 runs short today. We lost wickets at key moments when we had momentum, and ideally, we needed to build more partnerships. The pitch was holding up a bit, but I still believe we could've added those extra runs. Personally, I’m feeling better with every game, even though things don’t always go my way. I’m slowly finding my rhythm and taking it one match at a time. We spoke to a few players about Bishnoi but couldn't save his final over for later. Powerplay bowling remains a concern, but we're focused on learning and improving from each game.

MS Dhoni (Captain, CSK, and Player of the Match): MS Dhoni expressed relief after Chennai Super Kings secured an important win, saying it lifted team morale following several tough games. He acknowledged the team’s struggles during the powerplay, both with the ball and the bat, attributing some issues to conditions and combinations.
