Former Chennai Super Kings(CSK) captain MS Dhoni is under the huge radar for his batting in recent games which he played in the last three matches, Dhoni has scored 76 runs in four innings at a strike rate of 138.18, with a best score of 30*(16) this season. Literallyni'shoni's innings have not paved the desired result that the team needs from him. Dhoni's only contribution against Mumbai Indians was the victory, where he scored 0, rather than the three matches he scored ended in a losing cause.
In the second match against RCB he, scored 30*(16) when CSK needed 98 runs in the last 28 balls against RR, the right-handed batter entered in the middle when 54 were needed in 25 balls and scored 16 (11). Against DC, he came in to bat when 110 runs were needed in 56 balls with him and Vijay Shankar being the last recognized pair. He made 30*(26) as the duo showed no intent to go after the target. This has created a huge hand raise whether Dhoni's position is liable for the team's progress or not.

Dragging Too Much Hurting His Legacy
Former Chennai Super Kings and five-time IPL winning captain who is known for his finishing abilities was lambasted by fans due to few of the innings he played. Even the former players and commentators have questioned Ms Dhoni's approach where he lacks intent in important chases, where he used to be the pioneer for difficult chases, but the recent three games have shown that he was not interested in chasing the target.
Even fans too questioning his place, former Super Kings opening batsman Mathew Hayden has clearly depicted that cricket has left from Ms Dhoni and he should join our commentary panel. He is facing too much criticism spending the time on crease, You are going for the kill when you are already been killed by the opponent.  There has been a wide spread of criticism and you are ruining your legacy says Aakash Chopra.
Rumours of Retirement And Dhoni's Statment
The previous match against Delhi which was played in Chepauk stadium found an unexpected quest in the stadium which increased the rumour of Ms Dhoni retiring from the game. When his parents were seen on the ground to support his son playing, even his wife Sakshi Dhoni and daughter Ziva were there but the unusual was their parents attended the game speculating a huge retirement controversy, later Coach Stephen Fleming denied all the reports of reports.

Even in a small chat, The former captain himself shared his retirement news stating his body's functionality will have the final say on the mentioned decision "I'm still playing the IPL and kept it very simple. I take it one year at a time. I'm 43, so by the time I finish this July, I'll be 44. So, I have then 10 months to decide if I want to play one more year or not. And it's not me deciding, you know, it's the body that tells you whether you can or cannot. So, one year at a time, fully focused on what needs to be done right now. And after that, we'll see. It's a time of 8–10 months,"
