The Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals (DC vs RR) match has been scheduled for the 32nd match of the IPL 2025. Arun Jaitley Stadium (Delhi) will host this match on Wednesday evening (April 16).
Delhi Capitals are in the second place in the IPL 2025 points table with eight points after five matches. After winning all their first four games of the tournament, Delhi Capitals suffered their first defeat of the season against Mumbai Indians in their last fixture.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals are in the eighth place in the IPL 2025 points table after recording four points in six games, two wins and four losses. The inaugural IPL champions are now going through a two-match losing streak.

In the Delhi Capitals squad, opener Jake Fraser-McGurk is struggling, and former South African cricketer Faf du Plessis' fitness is a concern. If Du Plessis manages to make a comeback on Wednesday, the Aussie youngster may have to sit. Although Karun Nair's IPL return and in-form KL Rahul have strengthened the DC batting line-up, the batting line-up still has to prove itself. DC require more help from the bowlers, especially from the fourth and fifth bowlers, while skipper Axar Patel is still waiting for his first wicket this season.
Rajasthan Royals have some good batting potential, but the inconsistency is their major issue, especially from the top-order batters. RR bowlers are also struggling to perform consistently.
Delhi Capitals Predicted Playing XI: Faf du Plessis/Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abishek Porel, Karun Nair, Tristan Stubbs, KL Rahul (wk), Axar Patel (Captain), Ashutosh Sharma/Mukesh Kumar (Impact Sub), Vipraj Nigam, Kuldeep Yadav, Mitchell Starc, Mohit Sharma
Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (Captain), Riyan Parag, Nitish Rana/Kumar Kartikeya (Impact Sub), Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Sandeep Sharma, Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande
