On Saturday afternoon (April 19), Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals (GT vs DC) has been scheduled for the 35th match of the IPL 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Both teams will play their seventh match of the season. The IPL 2025 points table topper Delhi Capitals have 10 points after six games with five wins, including starting with four successive victories, and only one defeat. Delhi's last win came from a Super Over against Rajasthan Royals in their last fixture. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans are in the second position in the same points table with eight points after six matches, recording four wins and two losses, including four consecutive wins before losing their last fixture.
Gujarat Titans’ top-order batters are in strong form, while their middle-order batters need to take the finisher roles confidently. GT pacers are having good times, while the spinners are struggling.
Opener Jake Fraser-McGurk is struggling consistently, and if Faf du Plessis becomes fit, the young Australian has to leave his place. Despite their strong early results, DC batting doesn’t seem very confident. KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs have shown some strong consistent levels with their bats. As we don’t know the present status of T Natarajan’s fitness, Darshan Nalkande can be an option to replace struggling Mohit Sharma, as DC's bowling is too dependent on Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav.
