Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Delhi Capitals (RCB vs DC) has been scheduled for the 24th match of the IPL 2025, as M Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru) will host this match on Thursday evening (April 10).
Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play their fifth match of the season, while they have six points with three wins and one loss. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals are the only team not to suffer any defeat in this IPL 2025 as they won all three matches to earn six points.
Apart from losing their third game of the season against Gujarat Titans by eight wickets at home, RCB beat all three away fixtures as they won against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (by seven wickets), Chennai Super Kings (by 50 runs), and Mumbai Indians (by 12 runs).
Starting the season with a stunning one-wicket win against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals then won against SunRisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets and 25 runs, respectively.

While the former South African cricketer Faf du Plessis missed the last game for Delhi Capitals due to a fitness issue, he is likely to return to the squad for their upcoming match, which is against his previous IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Either Sameer Rizvi or Ashutosh Sharma may lose their place in the return of Du Plessis.
Apart from Faf du Plessis’ return, both in-form teams are unlikely to change their squads for the upcoming match, especially if there is no fresh fitness issue.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru Predicted Playing XI: Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, Rajat Patidar (Captain), Devdutt Padikkal/Suyash Sharma (Impact Player Sub), Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Tim David, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal
