In the 47th match of the IPL 2025, Rajasthan Royals vs Gujarat Titans (RR vs GT) has been scheduled. Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur will host this fixture on Monday evening (April 28). It will be their second meeting this season, while Titans won by 58 runs against Royals in Ahmedabad during their first clash of the season.

While it will be the ninth match for Gujarat Titans, who are leading the IPL 2025 points table with 12 points, recording six wins and two losses, the ninth-placed Rajasthan Royals will play their 10th match this season. The inaugural IPL champions RR have recorded two victories and seven defeats. Gujarat Titans have won their last two games, while Royals have lost all their last five matches, including a Super Over defeat against Delhi Capitals and a two-run defeat against Lucknow Super Giants. 

IPL 2025, Match 47: RR vs GT - Playing XIs Status

Rajasthan Royals are completely clueless now. Suffering two close defeats in their last three fixtures has hurt them hugely to become the unlikely teams to reach the Playoffs for this season. While Yashasvi Jaiswal is in dream form with the bat by scoring 40+ runs five times in the last six games, including four half-centuries, some other RR batters have failed to capitalise on their starts regularly. Only Wanindu Hasaranga and Jofra Archer have proven as the regular wicket-takers in the team in recent times. The squad may need some crucial changes. 

Gujarat Titans are strongly proving themselves in this tournament with their consistent performances. Both batting (especially top-order batting) and bowling (especially pacers) units are doing remarkably well. There is no need to change the playing squad.
