The 36th match of the IPL 2025 has been scheduled for Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants (RR vs LSG) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium (Jaipur) on Saturday evening (April 19).
Both Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants will play their eighth match of the tournament. While LSG have eight points after seven matches with four wins and three losses, RR have earned four points by recording two victories and five defeats.
Starting this season with two back-to-back defeats, Rajasthan Royals then secured two wins, and then lost their last three fixtures, including a Super Over defeat in their last game against Delhi Capitals.
On the other hand, LSG started this season with a one-wicket defeat and one victory, then suffered a big eight-wicket defeat before three successive wins. In their last game against Chennai Super Kings, LSG lost by five wickets.

As Tushar Deshpande is struggling highly, Akash Madhwal can be a good alternative option for Rajasthan Royals. Apart from this, there is no big requirement for changes. However, Kumar Kartikeya can also be a good option for RR, and he can replace Shubham Dubey.
LSG's top-order batters are the key to their success, while their pace-bowling unit is still growing. There is not much requirement for any alteration in the squad yet, except situation demands it.
Rajasthan Royals Predicted Playing XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (Captain), Riyan Parag, Nitish Rana/Akash Madhwal (Impact Sub), Shimron Hetmyer, Dhruv Jurel (wk), Shubham Dubey, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Sandeep Sharma, Jofra Archer
Lucknow Super Giants Predicted Playing XI: Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh/Ravi Bishnoi (Impact Subs), Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant (Captain and wk), Ayush Badoni, David Miller, Abdul Samad, Shardul Thakur, Avesh Khan, Akash Deep, Digvesh Rathi
