The SunRisers Hyderabad vs Punjab Kings (SRH vs PBKS) match will be played in the 27th match of the IPL 2025. Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium (Uppal, Hyderabad) will host it on Saturday evening (April 12).
Last-placed SunRisers Hyderabad have only two points after five matches with one win and four losses. After starting this season with the second-highest IPL total (286/6) and a 44-run win against Rajasthan Royals, SRH suffered four straight defeats against Lucknow Super Giants (by 5 wickets), Delhi Capitals (by 7 wickets), defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (by 80 runs), and Gujarat Titans (by 7 wickets).
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings have six points after four matches with three wins and one defeat. Apart from losing against Rajasthan Royals by 50 runs, PBKS recorded three strong wins against Gujarat Titans (by 11 runs), Lucknow Super Giants (by 8 wickets), and Chennai Super Kings (by 18 runs).

SRH have many issues in the squad, and we will not be shocked if we experience some big changes in the playing XI. Experienced left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat should stay in the team, who replaced injured Harshal Patel in the previous game and bowled two overs. Adam Zampa’s inclusion seems now necessary for the franchise.
Australian cricketer Marcus Stoinis is the major weak link in the PBKS side, and the Afghan all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai can be a stronger alternative option for the franchise.
SunRisers Hyderabad Predicted Playing XI: Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Kamindu Mendis/Adam Zampa, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Nitish Kumar Reddy, Aniket Verma, Zeeshan Ansari, Pat Cummins (Captain), Mohammed Shami, Harshal Patel/Jaydev Unadkat
Punjab Kings Predicted Playing XI: Prabhsimran Singh, Priyansh Arya/Yuzvendra Chahal (Impact Players Sub), Shreyas Iyer (Captain), Glenn Maxwell, Azmatullah Omarzai/Marcus Stoinis, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, Marco Jansen, Lockie Ferguson, Yash Thakur, Arshdeep Singh
