Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) will play against Rajasthan Royals(RR) in the forty-second match of IPL 2025 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB finished fourth and lost in the Eliminator, while RR failed to qualify for playoffs in the IPL 2024.
Tushar Deshpande: He had a good season with CSK last year and can be a useful bowling option in the second innings if the pitch helps pacers. He took 17 wickets in 13 matches. In the last match against DC in IPL 2025, he bowled 4 overs and took 1 wicket, and had an economy of 6.50.
Shubham Dubey: A left-handed batter who can add firepower in the final overs or step in if SRH loses early wickets. In the second match against LSG in IPL 2025, He scored just 3 run in 3 balls.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi: A classic left-hand batter from India, in the last match against LSG, scored a brilliant 34 runs in 20 balls in his first debut match in IPL 2025.
Kumar Kartikeya: A left-arm orthodox spin Bowler, Last time he played against RCB, he bowled 3 overs conceding 25 runs economy of 8.33.
Yudhvir Singh Charak: A fast bowler who can consistently hit speeds over 145 kph. He can be a good impact player in the second innings if RR bats first.

Swapnil Singh: A left-arm spinner who did well last season, taking six wickets in seven games. The left arm spinner also can play with the bat in lower down the order.
Suyash Sharma: A leg spinner who might come in if the pitch helps spinners. In his last match against the RR , he bowled four overs, conceding 26 runs at an economy rate of 6.50.
Mohit Rathee: A middle-order batter and leg spinner. In his last two domestic T20 matches, he scored 54 runs and took one wicket.
Rasikh Salam: A talented bowler who featured for Delhi Capitals last season. In his last match against the Gujarat Titans, he bowled three overs, conceding 35 runs at an economy rate of 11.67.
Devdutt Padikkal: A classic left-hand batter from India, from the past few seasons in IPL his performance has not been good but in IPL 2025, In mega auction RCB bought him. In the last match against PBKS, he scored just 61 run in 35 balls.
