The IPL 2025 Match 24 between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is to be played on April 10, 2025, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. In match Delhi Capitals outclassed Royal Challengers Bengaluru with a dominant 6-wicket win.
RCB scored 163/7 after being asked to bat. Opener Phil Salt provided a good beginning with a rapid 37 off 17 balls, but the momentum slowed as the game went on. Rajat Patidar contributed a defensive 25 off 23, but the middle order failed to capitalize, losing wickets at regular intervals. Tim David powered the innings in the last overs with an unbeaten 37 off 20, taking the score over 160.
Delhi Capitals' bowlers were tight and economical. Kuldeep Yadav spun through the middle overs, ending with commendable figures of 2/17. Debutant Vipraj Nigam made an impression, taking 2 for 18 in four overs and keeping his cool under pressure; he chipped away at wickets at the appropriate times. Mohit Sharma was equally effective, taking one crucial wicket and only giving up 10 runs in two overs.

DC Pursuing 164, the match went to KL Rahul with 93 off 53 with a straight bat ruling the innings. KL settled in to play a confident, calm innings as he continuously found boundaries while rotating the strike. Tristan Stubbs played well, supporting KL by scoring 38 off 23 as they looked to build a partnership. Axar Patel's coolness as he finished the innings off with 15 off 11 as DC chased the runs in 17.5 overs.
RCB's bowlers were under pressure, and only Bhuvneshwar Kumar was able to make an impact with 2/26. Suyash Sharma and Yash Dayal took a wicket each, but Rahul's control left them with no solution.
This victory gave Delhi Capitals momentum and improved their net run rate, while RCB's quest for consistency goes on in the tournament.
