The 41st IPL 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will take place on April 23, 2025, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Let’s look at the head-to-head record for SRH and MI, as well as some highlight matches between both teams.
Since SRH was introduced to the IPL in 2013, MI and SRH have played each other 24 times.

IPL 2019, Match 51 (May 2, 2019) - Mumbai
MI finished with 162/5 total, spearheaded by Quinton de Kock with 69*. SRH matched their score 162/6 total led by Manish Pandey with 71*. MI moved on to Superover. Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard added 8/0 in the super over. SRH batted 6/2 with Jasprit Bumrah dismissing both Martin Guptill and Mohammad Nabi. Bumrah ended with 2/31 and earned the Player of the Match award with his performance in the Superover.
IPL 2023, Match 25 (April 18, 2023) - Hyderabad
MI finished with 192/5, led with 48 from Rohit Sharma and 64* from Cameron Green. SRH finished with 178 total, which included 36 from Heinrich Klaasen and 22 from Aiden Markram. Arjun Tendulkar restricted SRH with his 1/18 final wicket, and Jason Behrendorff 2/33 in 4.0 overs. Cameron Green earned player of the match for not only scoring 64* but for also taking 1/29 in his 4.0 overs as well!

IPL 2024, Match 55 (May 6, 2024) – Mumbai
SRH scored 173/8, with Travis Head making 48 and Pat Cummins making 35*. MI chased it comfortably, with Suryakumar Yadav's unbeaten 102 off 51 and Tilak Varma's 37*. Hardik Pandya's 3/31 and Jasprit Bumrah's 1/22 held SRH back. Suryakumar's match-winning century made him the Player of the Match.
IPL 2025, Match 33 (April 17, 2025) – Mumbai
SRH scored 162/5, with Abhishek Sharma's 40 and Heinrich Klaasen's 37, aided by a late 22-run last over by Aniket Verma and Pat Cummins. MI chased 163, led by Will Jacks' 36 off 26 and Suryakumar Yadav's 26. Pat Cummins conceded 3 wickets, but the all-round show by Jacks (2/14 and 36) gave him the Player of the Match award.
