Indian Premier League is just 3 days away and everything is set for the grand stage before it, there will be pre season meet in BCCI headquaters with all the captains present on Thursday. The program is organised by BCCI at their chamber where all the captains and the managers of the respective teams will be present there. This activity is done in every season of IPL which resembles the protocal of it. 

Mostly its a program which is conducted to the captains about to explain about the sponsorship  and the various other protocols which is to be conducted in the 4 hour program, where various directives are to be explained to the captains.

What Includes the program 

In the meeting sessions teams will be informed about the new editions and changes for the upcoming season of IPL 2025. The program will be customised with the photoshoot featuring all the captains in the league. Generally  these programs are conducted in city where the season opener take place but this time BCCI has change of plans due to some special inception to be added in the meeting which is under the disclosure. 

Most of the team captains have reported to their respective IPL franchise who were the part of Champions Trophy . The last one to join was Pat Cummins the SRH captain who was suffering from leg injury which happened in recent Bgt series and couldn't able to took part in Champions Trophy too. On arrival Pat Cummins has made his full availability in the IPL season because soon after the IPL, team Australia will play their WTC final against South Africa which is just one week prior the end of Ipl 2025.

Team Captains For IPL 2025

IPL team captains assigned for this ipl seasons are way too different from the usual ones which will pave the new generation to move forward and take on the legacy of the team. Some teams have mix of experience vice captains and new captains who may develop these players. This initiate the step up process which will the teams to clear the transition phase. 

The team captains for the 10 teams are - Hardik Pandya (MI), Pat Cummins (SRH), Ruturaj Gaikwad (CSK), Rajat Patidar (RCB), Rishabh Pant (LSG), Shreyas Iyer (PBKS), Sanju Samson (RR), Ajinkya Rahane (KKR), and Shubman Gill (GT) and the last one is Axar Patel announced as (Delhi capitals) captain which completes the captains list and attains the season starter. This IPL season starter will be Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Banglore.
