Is Ishan Kishan really sidelined from Indian team questions former cricketer

Ishan Kishan is really going through his bad phase of time. The man who was the part of two world cups has been sidelined by the selectors it has raised certain questions from the former cricketer and current commentator Aakash Chopra. Will Ishan get any chance in nearby future.

Reason For His Ommission

Recent ongoing series between India and England two wicket keepers Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel are in front line. Whereelese in ODI scheme of things there will KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant. Though having a double century in ODI why Kishan has been neglected completely will he be proclaimed more into scheme of things or not.

In his recent video he has claimed that we have completely forgetten Ishan Kishan. He played theT20 world cup in Dubai. Next he was part of 2023 world cup too. Chopra acccepts that he has done a mistake selectors insisted him to play Ranji Trophy last year but he clearly refused he won't go back to domestic. And it was clear take of selectors if he won't play he will be not selected to Indian Team.

He clearly punches that punishment given to him was right you can't neglect your superiors but now he has played all forms of domestic now what's the reason of his exclusion or not been in the process of selection.

Out Of Form Troubling More

Now Kishan is far behind in the race of wicket keepers where Jurel, Samson, Rahul are more ahead of him, He becomes 3-4 choice of selectors which is deep down. Another thing which is going away from him is his recent form. Kishan is been in a really bad form of Ranji Matches. The captain of Jharkhand in his last 5 outings only managed the score of 8,23,48,39,8 which is not the score expected from him. The Syed Mustaq Ali trophy scores are also not that impressive.

Another point which goes against his favor is he is been inconsistent and he has fairly good numbers at the opening slots only when he comes down the order he just misrebly fails. Now in IPL 2025 he has been picked by SRH at a whopping price of 11 crore and the team which have all set of dimensional player, Will he able to make his place in the team that's really questionable. If he has to get into the team he should have a good IPL season with SRH which seems more of a dream now.
