Jos Buttler becomes 1st English batter to hit 150 T20I sixes

England cricketer Jos Buttler became the first English cricketer and fourth overall batter to hit 150 T20I sixes. During the Chennai T20I, the right-handed batter achieved this milestone.

England cricketer Jos Buttler became the first English cricketer and fourth overall batter to hit 150 T20I sixes. During the Chennai T20I, the right-handed batter achieved this milestone. 

Trailing the five-match T20I series by 1-0 after the first T20I, England were forced to bat first in the second game at Chennai. Once again, England lost their first wicket in the first over of the match, as the skipper Jos Buttler had to come into the crease early in the innings.

Jos Buttler became the fourth player to record 150 T20I sixes

Buttler again produced powerful batting performances against the Indian bowlers, as the right-handed batter hit three sixes in his 45 off 30 balls innings in the Chennai T20I. While he hit his second six in the match, Buttler completed his 150th T20I six. With three sixes in the match, Buttler has hit 151 sixes in his T20I career.

Buttler became the first English batter and fourth overall cricketer to hit 150 T20I sixes. Among them, only the Indian legend Rohit Sharma recorded 200 T20I sixes.
