In a face-off between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), RR emerged victorious with a six-wicket win over RCB. Despite RCB having a star-studded top-order lineup, their performance has been below par, adding pressure on the rest of the batting lineup.
On the other hand, RR secured their third consecutive win, despite not fully utilizing the potential of their top-order players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler. Jos Buttler shows an amazing performance with the century in today’s match.
Jos Buttler’s stellar performance stole the show as he smashed an impressive 100 runs off just 58 balls, leading RR to victory. Buttler was batting on 94* (57) when RR needed just 1 run from 6 balls, and he sealed the win with a six, marking his sixth IPL hundred. RR comfortably chased down the target of 183 runs, maintaining their unbeaten streak of four wins in as many matches.
Buttler’s century also marked another milestone as he completed his 150th IPL six, joining the ranks of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, and Rohit Sharma. This win was crucial for RR, propelling them to fifth place in the league table, while RCB remained in third place.
