In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Delhi Capitals by 14 runs. In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders had set a challenge of 205 runs in front of Delhi Capitals. In response, Delhi Capitals could only score 190 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders lost the toss and were asked to bat first. The Kolkata team had a great start, and the pair of Sunil Narine and Rahmanullah Gurbaz added 48 runs in three overs. From the Kolkata Knight Riders team, Sunil Narine took three wickets for 29 runs in four overs. Varun Chakaravarthy took two wickets for 39 runs in four overs. Anukul Roy, Vaibhav Arora, and Russell also got one wicket each.
