LSG and DC will be having one on one match between each other on Monday. They have quite an intense rivalry between them. Lucknow being new team to Ipl have played quite good matches. These two teams have faced each other 5 times where Lsg holds a slide edge over Delhi with 3 match wins and Delhi having 2 match wins. Though both the teams have reached playoffs in their several outings. 

Delhi have reached finals quite a time where Rishabh used to be the captain of the team and Rahul who was the captain of Lsg was released this year after the fuelment between his owner. Now both of them will face each other in opposite franchises which is going to be an interesting battle between them. Rishabh Pant was bought by LSG at the price of 27 crores and has been made captain of the team and KL Rahul has been bought by Delhi Capitals for 14 crores. He was also asked for rope into captaincy but Rahul was not interested and said he would be happy to contribute to the team.

Delhi has roped in Axar Patel as their captain for this season. Delhi Capitals boast a balanced lineup featuring power hitters and reliable bowlers, including Mitchell Starc, T Natarajan, and Kuldeep Yadav. Roping to the firepower, Karun Nair, Tristan Stubbs, Sameer Rizvi, and Ashutosh Sharma form a formidable middle order.

Whereas Lucknow has acquired  Mitchell Marsh, David Miller, Aiden Markram, and Nicholas Pooran to form the backbone of their batting lineup, LSG will hope to maintain their edge in the rivalry. LSG has an issue in their bowling unit where Mayank Yadav, Avesh Khan, and Akash Deep are undergoing rehabilitation. But the inclusion of Shardul Thakur who has impressive Ranji Season has roped by Lsg for 4 crore. Shardul has been a handy customer who can contain runs in his bowling and can score runs for the team. Well, both sides have been balanced sides but it will be seen on the ground how effective the players are on the ground.
