Lahore Qalandars’ pace spearhead, Haris Rauf, has been ruled out from the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to an injury setback. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to closely monitor Rauf’s condition, especially with the T20 World Cup 2024 on the horizon.

Rauf sustained the injury during Lahore Qalandars’ clash against Karachi Kings at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday, February 24. The dynamic fast bowler hurt his right shoulder in an awkward landing while attempting to grab a catch.

In a pivotal moment of the match, Rauf executed a remarkable catch at long-off to dismiss Hasan Ali. However, his landing caused discomfort to his shoulder. Subsequently, Rauf was seen exiting the field with his right shoulder wrapped in an elastic bandage.
